AINA KARI AT VENICE DESIGN BIENNIAL

The outcomes are natural shapes from thoughts and emotions, creating objects for intimate interior décors. Aina Kari carries own stories ( identity and memory) and invites anybody who wants their stories to be told ( heritage) as live interactive art collectibles.

The game of bowls seems to be one of the oldest sports in the world (the first traces date back to 7000 BC). In the heart of Venice, in the Sestiere of Dorsoduro, one of the oldest bowls' associations in Italy survives and is indeed very much alive: Bocciofila San Sebastiano, among the oldest in Italy.
SPARC*-Spazio Arte Contemporanea, now an exhibition space, was once a stately flat overlooking Campo Santo Stefano, one of the most famous squares in Venice. The flat, part of a probably 18th-century building, was in the latter part of the 20th century the home of a Venetian family with a passion for art and culture.

AINA KARI AT FUORISALONE MILANO |  DESIGN FOR GOOD

"Prendete e Mangiate" is a collective exhibition-event dedicated to the table: a place for exchanged sharing, for building senses and identities and for negotiation between ourselves and others. Around a long table set with art and design objects, visitors are invited to exchange food and words, nourishment for body and mind.
